2003, Carolyn was the recipient of the Society
of Competitive Intelligence Professional’s (SCIP) Meritorious Award. This award
is given annually to one individual who has made significant and meritorious
contributions to the CI profession. It is the highest award SCIP can bestow. Carolyn is also co-founder of SCIP’s Women’s
Leadership Council.
Carolyn
has written numerous articles on business and competitive intelligence topics.
She is co-author of eight books on competitive intelligence including Bottom
Line Competitive Intelligence, Improved Business Planning Using
Competitive Intelligence, and The
Internet Age of Competitive Intelligence.
Carolyn
has previously served as a member of the National Advisory Panels to VOLUNTEER,
The National Center For Citizen Involvement. She is a former
member of the Boards of Directors of the American Cat Fanciers Association and
of the Cat Writers’ Association.
Mr.
McGonagle is co-author of eight books on competitive intelligence including A
Manager’s Guide to Competitive Intelligence, and Protecting Your Firm Against Competitive. He is the research editor of the Arthur
Andersen European Community Sourcebook.
John
has served as an expert witness on competitive intelligence. He is now a member
of the faculty of the Institute for Competitive Intelligence and has been an
adjunct lecturer at

received the Meritorious Award in 2007 from the Society of Competitive
Intelligence Professionals. John helped design SCIP’s Team Excellence Award. He
has also served as a member of numerous SCIP Committees including those on
Ethics, Nominations, and the annual awards. He is also a member of the Society
for Insurance Research, the Marketing Research Association, and the Association
for Strategic Planning (ASP). He currently the Chair of ASP’s John Goodman
Award Committee for innovation in strategic planning.
